In the story of my life, every narrative thread weaves together tales, memories, and defining moments. Amidst this colourful weave, Parichad shines brilliantly, colouring my world with her essence. She transcends the role of a partner; she's my very reason for being, my raison d'être. This space celebrates her profound influence on my life, our shared path, and the unforgettable imprints of love, support, and inspiration she has etched on my soul. She's my everything, worth every sacrifice.

Our journey, now in its 11th year, began under the spell of a glittering stage in Nakhon Pathom. There stood Parichad, on stage, an angel in melody, captivating my heart with her voice. Our initial exchanges, bridged by 'Teacher Gaye's' translations, blossomed into a deep connection. Moving to Isaan and setting roots in Nong Khai marked our new chapter, filled with laughter, challenges, and shared dreams.

Capturing Parichad's spirit in words is a daunting task. Her presence is like the dawn, spreading warmth and light across my life. Her adeptness, whether crafting handbags, tinkering with the car or motorbike, or managing home repairs, leaves me in awe. Her compassion, especially evident in her care for her beloved Sumo in his final months, showcases her immense heart. Parichad is gentle, funny, highly intelligent, wise and resilient—a fearless soul, likely a valiant warrior in another life.

Our explorations across Thailand have unfailingly turned into grand adventures, where each journey unveils something new and breathtaking. The landscapes, the culture, the spontaneous discoveries that await around every corner have enriched our souls and drawn us closer, crafting memories that are vivid tapestries of joy and discovery.

Venturing beyond Thailand, our escapade to Vietnam, particularly to Da Nang, Hoi An, and the Ba Na Hills, stands out as a remarkable chapter. Despite my trepidation towards the world's longest chairlift, the experience led us to a destination so enchantingly reminiscent of a French hamlet, it was as if we had been whisked away to another continent altogether. The beauty and serenity of that place, with Parichad by my side, turned my fear into exhilaration. It was a testament to our adventures together, always pushing boundaries, always worth the leap.

Then there was Cambodia, with the majestic Angkor Wat commanding awe and reverence. As we wandered through the ancient ruins, each stone and carving whispering secrets of a bygone era, we were immersed in the profound history and spirituality that pervaded the air. The local ice cream, a sweet respite under the Cambodian sun, became a simple yet profound pleasure amidst the grandeur of our surroundings. Remarkably, I navigated the vast expanses of this historic site in nothing but my flip-flops, a feat that still brings a smile to my face. It was Parichad's presence, enthusiasm, and unwavering spirit that transformed what might have been an arduous day into a thrilling expedition.

These journeys, these explorations, are not merely trips but are chapters of our life together, painted with the colours of adventure, history, culture, and shared joy. Each step, each discovery, and each shared moment of awe underlines the essence of our journey together — a quest not just for the beauty of the world, but for the depths of our bond. Every day with Parichad is an adventure, a lesson, a treasure, a story to be told with laughter and love in years to come.

I once considered myself quite the globetrotter, a jet-setter circling the globe with ease. Yet, Parichad possesses a natural knack for navigating airports and sidestepping the long queues, leaving me utterly amazed and a touch humbled. Travelling alongside her transforms me into an eager learner, wide-eyed and marveling at her uncanny ability to find her way. It's as if she has an internal compass guiding her through the maze of terminals and gates. How she does it, I'll never fully grasp, but it's nothing short of extraordinary.

Our place in Isaan might look like any other house at first glance, but it's Parichad's touch that transforms it into a true sanctuary, a home. That said, we share this sanctuary with the local fauna, a lively ensemble of wildlife that never ceases to surprise. The squirrels, with their mischievous antics, are a delight as they raid our jackfruit for a taste of sweetness. The birds bring songs to our mornings, and even the frogs have found a place in my heart. However, the snakes are a different story—they truly test my bravery, sending me sprinting in the opposite direction at the mere sight of them.

Parichad, on the other hand, stands undaunted. Our garden seems to be a magnet for snakes, not just the benign tree snakes but also the formidable cobras. Yet, she, a veritable snake whisperer, handles these encounters with astonishing calm, armed only with her snake-catching stick. She skillfully and carefully relocates them to a field nearby, ensuring both our safety and theirs. Her bravery in these moments is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Parichad has not just changed my life; she's given it a new definition. Her wisdom, subtle yet profound, challenges and enriches me daily. She's my cornerstone, guiding me towards better choices and a deeper understanding of life itself.

Looking ahead, our future is a canvas awaiting our next brushstrokes. While Parichad's serene Buddhist perspective teaches acceptance and contentment, my aspirations lean towards providing her with security and happiness. My deepest wish is to ensure she has a forever home, without the burden of rent, a sanctuary of our love and memories.

To Parichad, this homage barely scratches the surface of my gratitude and love for you. You are my compass, my inspiration, my steadfast support. Thank you for intertwining your life with mine, for the trust, love, and shared dreams.
